The preservative in the tube is not hazardous to people or pets. Wipe up the spill with a disposable towel, tissue, or wipe and dispose into your normal household waste. Wash your hands with soap and water to avoid prolonged skin exposure. Do not use the sample collection kit if any of the preservative spills.
