To receive payment assistance for your HIV treatment and related costs, you can enroll in ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program), which is the sister program to PrEP-AP. To enroll in ADAP, you can do one of the following:
- Go to an in-person ADAP enrollment site by visiting the ADAP Enrollment Site Locator or contacting the ADAP call center at (844) 421-7050, Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM (excluding holidays). You can visit their website at https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DOA/pages/OA_adap_eligibility.aspx
- Contact San Francisco Aids Foundation (SFAF) to get enrolled in ADAP and other HIV care services. SFAF offers a range of services that help connect you to HIV treatment, benefits, insurance, long-term HIV care, HIV support groups and events, and other support services.You can visit their website at https://www.sfaf.org/services/hiv-support-health-navigation/, call 415-437-3450, or email assist4HIV@sfaf.org.
- SFAF may also offer other HIV care related programs for those ineligible for ADAP.
